As a soon to be bride, you probably wonder what dress you should wear on your wedding day. Many weddings take place in the summer, as the weather is much nicer, and the hot weather allows you to hold your wedding on the beach. The wedding can of course, be more casual – or you can go all out and hold it on an exotic island. In each of the cases, your dress should look amazing and highlight your best features.

We suggest light colors, such as white, ivory, or pale pink. On the beach, your dress may get easily dirty, so an option would be to wear a short wedding dress. In this case, there is nothing better than a baby doll dress. This design has a high wait, perhaps with a belt if you want, and the skirt can be as simple or as detailed as you want. The dress you decide for could feature ruffles, or layers of different type of fabrics, which will give you a stunning look.

Of course, a beach wedding allows you to wear a long dress as well. In this case, skip the high heels and wear a pair of flat but crystal encrusted sandals – in a light color, matching the dress. The long dress can be a goddess dress with a high wait, or a mermaid cut – depending on your own personal tastes. Either way, opt for a light and easy to wear fabric, such as chiffon or even organza. In summer many brides already have a tan skin, so you can also go for statement gold jewelry, which will offer a nice contrast with a light colored dress. Wear long, white lace gloves for a glamorous effect that everybody will envy!

Last but not least – your hairstyle should be suitable for a beach wedding as well – leave your hair down, or perhaps a low messy bun would look good.
